triving so that the moral values of the Qur’an may be spread among all people is a responsibility incumbent upon all people of faith and good conscience. Allah has revealed this responsibility in the Qur’an, with the words “Let there be a community among you who call to the good, and enjoin the right, and forbid the wrong. They are the ones who have success.” (Surah Al ‘Imran: 104). In another verse Allah tells people to “… compete with each other in doing good. Every one of you will return to Allah...” (Surat al-Ma’ida: 48). For that reason, people must work to do all they can to call people to what is good and to support the communication of the moral values of the Qur’an.
A person's material means may not be sufficient for that, or he or she may not have very much time to devote to it. Yet anyone who uses his conscience can definitely find something within his powers to do. He may not be able to print and distribute books, nor produce documentaries describing the moral values of the Qur'an, not prepare websites introducing Islam. What that person may be able to do, however, is to spread the useful work already done by others.
It is here that the works of Harun Yahya are a major resource for people of good conscience. Recommending these, which are prepared with no commercial interest or profit in mind, with considerable self-sacrifice, to other people, encouraging them to buy them, or to read them on the Internet if they cannot afford to purchase them direct, is a major service. In this way, one person can encourage hundreds of others to read the books and articles, watch the documentaries and listen to the tapes. Every single one of those people can encourage those works to a hundred others, and by means of these works the moral values of the Qur'an will quickly reach large numbers of people.
Each of these people can recommend these books to guests in their homes, to customers who visit their places of work, or to members of societies to which they belong. If they happen to bring out a magazine or if they have connections with a particular channel, they can introduce the works of Harun Yahya in their magazine or on TV programmes and encourage others to read, watch and listen to these works. They can come up with new ideas about how these works might reach even more people and about what can be done to spread the moral values of the Qur’an, and can communicate these to us. Sending a message at the touch of a computer keyboard is all that is needed. In addition, at the touch of another key they can introduce their own acquaintances to the websites, books and other works in question.
As one can see, there is a great deal that anyone who sincerely wants to fulfill his or her responsibility of communicating the message and is seeking ways of doing so can do. The important thing is for a person to use his reason and conscience with all sincerity. Allah has revealed this in the verses of the Qur'an:
This truly is a reminder, so let anyone who wills take the Way towards his Lord. (Surat al-Muzzammil: 19)
... Whoever heeds Allah – He will give him a way out. (Surat at-Talaq: 2)
For these reasons, merely approving of the work carried out to communicate the moral values of the Qur’an, without actually making any effort to support the process, is incompatible with the concept of the conscience of a believer. Allah may hold such people directly accountable for such behaviour in the Hereafter. At a time when Muslims are under enormous pressure in various parts of the world, especially such places as Palestine, Chechnya and East Turkestan, it is of the greatest importance for believers to support one another. This requires a better use of people’s limited time and constant work to support the spread of the moral values of the Qur’an. If everyone’s devout efforts are combined, whether they be great or small, then with Allah’s help this will be a means whereby proper moral values can spread to all people. At the same time, this is a responsibility which Allah has given to all Muslims. He has revealed this command thus in the Qur’an:
Allah loves those who fight in His Way in ranks like well-built walls. (Surat as-Saff: 4)
